Utility Vegetation Maintenance

Vegetation management on transmission and distribution primary lines is the core of our business.
Ensuring proper vegetation clearance on transmission and distribution lines is crucial for safe and dependable power.

Our line clearance capabilities include:

  • Manual or excavator-operated brush cutter right of way clearing for utility services
  • Rail-mounted aerial lift trucks, chippers, and brush cutters
  • Emergency storm service
  • Identification of hazard vegetation on right of ways, rail lines, and residential areas

Our Approach

The NGS Contracting Advantage

NGS Contracting has a reputation for consistently delivering high-quality work that exceeds our clients’ standards.

This is thanks to our Quality Management System (QMS), the proprietary framework that guides our projects and helps us deliver excellent work. Our QMS includes tools and processes that apply to every project, employee, and partner.

Our team members are the driving force in ensuring that QMS is implemented across all of our projects.

  • Every project starts with the Senior Project Manager (SPM).
  • The SPM works with the client on a Requirements Definition and Project Scope document, accounting for the client’s needs, our team’s capacity and all external regulatory requirements.
  • The SPM works with the NGS Environmental Coordinator, Safety Coordinator, and Quality Coordinator.
  • Together, they ensure that the Project Plan is complete and communicated to NGS Field Managers, Field Workers, and all sub-contractors.
